One of the greatest lessons I have learned from the extraordinary achievements of many people who found their life calling is that GOD usually starts working at the bottom, instead of the top in people’s lives.
If we aren’t yet at the top but want to make it to the top, then we have to start serving with the least we have and start serving the least people whom many consider to be the least important and least valuable in life.
In case you were born at a bottom or very low position in life, don’t be discouraged! You’re destined to be happy and great if your lifestyle is in harmony with GOD’s will and you obey His laws as He expects.
The fact that you are at the bottom doesn’t mean it’s not part of GOD’s divine scheme
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you…”—Jeremiah. 1: 5 (The Christian Bible); therefore, contrary to what many people believe, none of us were born by chance, and GOD planned all the events in our lives before we were born.
So if you were at the “bottom” of the ladder or are still at the bottom, your situation is in complete accord with GOD’s divine scheme which has all answers to questions you may be asking in regard to why, what, when, who and where.
GOD is in control of anything that is in accordance with his will, and He has reasons, plans, and purposes for your situation, even if it is at the bottom or bottommost level you’ve ever experienced.
You might not have a father, a mother, brothers, sisters, or anyone to help and elevate you, and everything might be stacked against you and has made you believe you will remain at the bottom and never realize there is a reason for your existence.
But it doesn’t matter whether you’re really at the bottom because that’s exactly where GOD usually starts from, instead of the top where most people think that GOD should start from.
GOD’s plans are perfect
You might be unhappy and unfulfilled as a result of being at the bottom, but never forget that GOD plans everything perfectly and doesn’t make accidents; so He understands why you have to experience that bottom level in order to get to the top level in the best shape possible.
The apostle Paul couldn’t have put these inspiring words together any better when he said: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love GOD, to those who are called according to His purpose”—Romans 8: 28 (The Christian Bible).
Before you were born, GOD had planned that your life’s bottom and top scenarios would all work for good; as a result, you came into this world to eventually hit top form even though you might have been at the bottom for the greater part of your life.
GOD has definite plans for you to be great
Although GOD has plans for you to be great, it must not be interpreted that GOD plans for you to be great in the worldly sense—according to the material or worldly meaning of being great—which usually implies having great possessions of numerous expensive cars and houses or mansions, and attracting attention from all over the world.
You can actually be great at whatever you do without attracting attention from all over the world and being in possession of numerous expensive cars and houses: you can be a great teacher, a great writer, a great doctor, a great athlete, a great cook, a great dad, a great mum, a great neighbor, etc.
You may never become a world leader or the president of your country, but you can be great in your calling with the abilities and talents GOD bestowed on you, even though you may find yourself at the bottom which you will eventually come to realize is a temporary position that was put in place for a great purpose.
Thanks for these words of wisdom. Faith and trust in God’s plan are key parts of all of our spiritual journey.

God is no respecter of persons. As you note, who is defining what the bottom is? God or the world? Worldly success often is at odds with God’s definition.

thanks alot for reading and commenting; really, worldly success is often at odds with GOD’s own definition of success; generally, the world’s definition of many things is at odds with GOD’s own definitions.
